About Max
Hi there. I'm Max, an Australian Screen Composer from Melbourne, Victoria.
Max is a Screen Composer for film, game and television, and holds a Bachelor of Applied Music (Composition) from Box Hill Institute (Centre for Creative Industries) in Box Hill, Victoria and a Graduate Certificate in Commerce from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, NSW. He also holds a Bachelor of Business (Business Administration) from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Victoria, and a Grade 6 AMEB qualification in practical piano for leisure and one in music theory.
Max has studied composition with George Papanicolaou (Film, TV and Documentary Composer), Howard Ward and Lachlan Wilson at Box Hill Institute, and received practical-theoretical mentorship with Performer and Composer Adam Simpson (Click Here). Max is also a degree lecturer in Music Business at Box Hill Institute (Centre for Creative Industries). He has worked on a number of short films and TV/WebVCs for fellow students and film-makers, as well as podcasts and TEDx conferences. He has also worked on arrangement projects, animations and with various other media applications. Max is proficient with a number of industry standard music and audio production software packages that assist him in communicating his abilities as a Composer. He also plays keyboard for signed solo artist 'Finding North' (Click Here).
Max continues to carry out his studies diligently, and hopes to make a significant contribution to the global future of screen music composition.
