About

Hi there. I'm Max, an Australian Screen Composer (amongst other things) from Melbourne, Victoria. Here is a little bit about me:

At Box Hill Institute I studied composition with George Papanicolaou (Film, TV and Documentary Composer), Howard Ward and Lachlan Wilson. Since 2017 I have held a position with the Faculty of Creative Industries & ICT at Box Hill Institute as a lecturer and tertiary examiner, teaching the following subjects in the Bachelor of Applied Business in Music Industry under the direction of Paul Gildea:

• Accounting For Decision Making
• Social Research & Business Statistics

One of my proudest achievements has been writing a textbook for accounting and budgeting in Australia: Accounting for Creative Minds, a prescribed reading in the Bachelor of Applied Business in Music Industry at Box Hill Institute.

• Master of Business Administration (Educational Leadership) – Charles Sturt University (2021)
• Bachelor of Applied Music (Composition), Outstanding Student Award Winner – Box Hill Institute (2017)
• Graduate Certificate in Commerce – Charles Sturt University (2016)
• Bachelor of Business (Business Administration) – Swinburne University of Technology (2016)

AMEB Piano & Theory of Music Qualifications

I have worked on a number of short films and TV/WebVCs for fellow students and film-makers, as well as podcasts and a TEDx conference. I have also worked on arrangement projects, animations and with various other media applications. Please feel free to send me a message or give me a call if you would like to discuss a project, or browse the audio and video demos above. Thank you for visting.
